Information on Personal Data
As of May 25, 2018, the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation, 2016/679 (GDPR), applies. The following text describes how we handle personal data in connection with communication and marketing to our stakeholders, customers, partners, and suppliers.
Personal Data at Ability Partner
We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, for example, when you attend our events, participate as a speaker or partner, or communicate with us via email or other channels where you register. The data we collect includes name, job title, mailing address, email address, and phone number. Some participants at our events also provide information on allergies or special dietary requests, which we collect.
Sometimes, we obtain personal data from other sources based on your professional role and when we assess that you might be interested in specific events. These sources may include your employer, purchased data registers, or searches via publicly available search engines.
Through our digital channels, we also collect certain digital traces such as cookies and IP addresses. Additionally, we collect response results from various types of customer surveys, such as evaluations.

How We Share the Information We Collect

Apart from this, we do not sell, distribute, or make your personal data available to third parties. However, we may need to share information with our suppliers, such as advertising agencies and printing companies at the conference you attend. We may also need to allow consultants and our suppliers access to your personal data when they perform services for us, such as processing payments.
Storage of Personal Data
Your personal data is stored for the purposes mentioned above as long as you continue to attend our events or as long as we, based on your professional role, assess that you have an interest in and are a potential visitor to our events.
